timbl: A question came up in my head yesterday when Sandro was discussing RIF. Namely, why don't cwm built-ins also support those that are in the XQuery/XPath function namespaces?

Pipian, I think that is a great idea. (ref. XPath function)
22:20:18 [Pipian]
I think so as well. Don't see any reason to phase out the old functions at this point but at least for now there's no reason we shouldn't support an apparent standard.
22:22:28 [kennyluck_]
One thing we are not going to be able to do is to put a N3(or RDF) document at the namespace (have to make a request to XPath people), while we do have N3 at the built-in namespace
22:23:34 [Pipian]
Indeed. But there isn't RDF at the xsd: namespace either.
22:26:24 [timbl]
Pipian -- good Q re why don't cwm built-ins also support those that are in the XQuery/XPath function namespaces? .. just never added them.
22:26:34 [timbl]
Fel free to add them!
