- The Tabulator Extention: The Tabulator Extension is an extension for Firefox that provides a human-readable interface for linked data. It is based on the on-line Tabulator, a web-based interface for browsing RDF. Using Tabulator's outline mode, query views, and back-end code, the Tabulator Extension integrates the browsing of linked data directly into the Firefox browser, making for a more natural and seamless experience when browsing linked data on the Web.
A primary goal of the Tabulator Extension is to explore how linked data could be displayed in the next generation of Web browsers. The extension aims to make linked data human-readable by taking a document and picking out the actual things that the document describes. The properties of these things are the displayed in a table, and then the links in that table can be followed to load more data about other things in other documents.
- Semantic Web Clipboard of the Tabulator: Our primary
objective is to enable users to do the right thing and comply with Creative Commons
licenses associated with Web media, instead of preventing them from
doing the wrong thing or preventing violations of these licenses. As a
solution, we have implemented an application of the Tabulator,
the Semantic Clipboard,
which provides license awareness of Web media and enables users to copy
them along with the appropriate license metadata.
- Semantic Web Application Platform - SWAP: A set of open source tools for the Semantic Web, including cwm, a general-purpose data processor for the semantic web.
- AIR Web Rule Language : AIR is a Semantic Web-based rule language that supports reasoning on the open Web while focusing on generating and tracking explanations for its inferences and actions and conforming to Linked Data principles. AIR supports Linked Rules, which can be combined and re-used in a manner similar to Linked Data. Additionally, AIR explanations themselves are Semantic Web data so they can be used for further reasoning.
- The Semantic Web Widget Library: The Semantic Web Widget Library is a library for creating user interfaces that work with the Semantic Web. This project aims to provide a useful set of tools for viewing and editing Semantic Web data that can easily be integrated into any Website.
- Information Accountability: The Aintno project provides a platform for experimenting with information accountability. It allows individuals to explore the effects of setting information usage restrictions on their social graph data.
The current demo simulates the use of public social graph data (extracted from Facebook and Flickr) by an insurance company making a policy application decision. The protagonist, Danny Digger, has been rejected for a new insurance policy due to poor dietary habits. Information on Danny's fondness for eating unhealthy foods was derived from behavior observed in pictures and other postings on social networking sites.
